Repertoire from Frederick the Great’s court including works by C.P.E. Bach, Quantz, and Agricola, masters of appealing to the ‘mixed taste’, with German, Italian, and French influences. Music performed by Dr. Sarah McNulty, who has recently been awarded a PhD on rhetoric and baroque performance practice at the University of York.
Sarah performs regularly with period instrument orchestras such as Newcastle Baroque and the Yorkshire Baroque Soloists and has presented baroque performance practice seminars and workshops at the University of York. Masumi Yamamoto has studied music at Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University in Australia and the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music, London. She is currently studying for a PhD at the University of York and performs across the UK and abroad as a soloist and continuo player.
